A friendly meeting with Eileen Guo from NYC, USA

Today we had an excited and warm meeting with Eileen Guo. An entrepreneur, ethnographer, CEO and founder of Impassion Media, WEF global shaper, TEDxKabul conspirator from NYC, USA.

Our meeting discussions were around how to make a start up and entrepreneurship here in Afghanistan and also we talked about her experiences which are mentioned bellow based on her personal weblog:

I’m passionate about communications, transitioning economies, post-conflict reconstruction, ethnography, and entrepreneurship – and am lucky enough to work at the intersection of these fields through my business, Impassion Media.

Before founding Impassion, I developed the first digital strategy for the McChrystal Group; trained and managed a team of social media analysts for a publicly traded oil and gas company; and conducted media relations in the aftermath of a magnitude 7.9 earthquake in Southern China. I’ve lived and worked around the world in markets both emerging and emerged, including Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Chile, India, and Spain.

I graduated from Tufts University in 2011, where I double majored in International Security and Anthropology,  created the first-ever Field Exercise in Peace and Stability Operations (FieldEx), and over-exposed myself in various Undergraduate Admissions blogs. While at Tufts, I also earned a certificate in Humanitarian Field Practices from the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.

I am fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, and am a big fan of jumping into fountains.

We are so glad to meet her here in our office and we are sure our cooperation can lead TechSharks Company to be stronger than before.
